It's been a while since 2006 so thought I'd best update the journal bit seeing as it's at the top of the page.

I graduated from Uni with a 2:1 in Graphic Design. That's the major arty news. Since then I have a full time job on computers to get the pennies in. Keeping my hand in the design pool doing logos and small projects for people - mainly for youtube users.

Wish I had more time for traditional art. I currently have a half finished A1 black and white painting of a Death God and an A5 half finished acrylic painting of a Skeleton in a space suit. Points to people who can guess where the inspiration for either of those have come from. Once they're done they'll be up here.

I have also figured out I'd like to try and get into the design side of TV. It's something I'm passionate about and being at work amongst people who have not studied design I find myself pointing out ways of presenting things better which makes me think that I did actually learn something at uni as well as undertaking lots of projects. If anyone reading this happens to be thinking about going to uni to do art or design - I reckon go for it. Yea it's hard work, especially 2nd and 3rd year but university made me who I am. I now live where I studied as I moved away from home and have a fantastic wide group of friends and I get out which can be a bit daunting if you're just leaving school - but believe me, it's great.

So it's all good at the moment. I'm hoping to do some meet ups over summer and maybe finish of my half started projects!
